CLASS DESCRIPTION: You're Such a Character! The heartbeat of a great story is a great character, and if you have a great cast of characters you're well on your way to a winning novel. Popular author, Sheila Roberts, will help you bring memorable characters to life by showing you how to fully develop them and make them real. Class will discuss motivation, goals and conflict, ways to reveal character, how to write realistic dialogue, and will also provide helpful tools students can download for use on their own projects.
Instructor Bio: Writing since 1989, Sheila Roberts has enjoyed seeing 25 books in print, both fiction and nonfiction, under different names, and has been published in several different languages. Her books have been top sellers and have been optioned for book clubs, film, and Reader's Digest Condensed books. Her book Angel Lane was an Amazon top ten romance pick for 2009.
