The Carolina Romance Writers Chapter of RWA is pleased to announce our March Online Workshop:

WORKSHOP: Action Sequences: Writing Heart-Pounding Fight Scenes, Chases and
Climaxes

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

A crucial ingredient of great romantic suspense and adventure is the fight
scene. Yet many writers have a difficult time pulling off believable fights
and climaxes that deliver on reader expectations. New York Times
bestselling author Angela Knight discusses the techniques she uses to create
heart-pounding action sequences. She discusses how to create heroes and
villains who are a good match for each other, how to choreograph fight
scenes, and how to build a plotline that rises to a climax that makes
readers eager for your next book.

INSTRUCTOR'S BIO:

Angela Knight is the author of eight bestselling paranormal novels for
Berkley, including the Mageverse series and the new futuristic Time Hunters
series. She is also the author of more than 20 novellas for Berkley, Red
Sage, and the e-book publishers Changeling Press, Loose Id and Ellora's
Cave. This year, she received Romantic Times' Career Achievement Award in
Paranormal Romance.

Cost for the workshop is $15 for CRW and Heart of Carolina Romance Writers
members, $25 for all others. The workshop will run from March 1st to the
28th. Registration deadline is February 25th. Once registered, you will be
subscribed to the workshop loop prior to and for the duration of the class.

Regular, (Month-long) classes consisting of at least 2 lessons per week for
CRW and HCRW members is $15, all others $25. Mini, (2 week) classes,
consisting of 2-3 lessons per week for CRW and HCRW members is $10, all
others $20.
This class will begin March 1st and will end March 28th.
Registration deadline is February 25th.
